Forward: Wyatt Stasik, WBS Knights

Stasik (‘06/Wilkes, Pa.) had a big weekend to bridge November and December, scoring three goals and also had two assists for five points. The second-year Knight has improved to a career best 29 points in 20 games this year.

Defense: Adam Zaremba, Rockets Hockey Club

Zaremba (‘06/South Plainfield, N.J.) registered a goal and an assist for two points to help the Rockets to a 5-1 win to start December and earn the game-winning goal. Zaremba is a career Rockets player, having come up through their youth and Midget ranks.

Goaltender: Anthony Shaw, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights

Shaw (‘06/Wilkes, Pa.) stopped all 32 shots he faced on Nov. 30 against the Rockets Hockey Club for his second shutout of the season and his fourth win in a row. He is 6-1 this season and for his career, he is 9-3-0-0 with a .916 save percentage.

Midwest Division

Forward: Christopher Frachalla, Chicago Crush

Frachalla (‘04/Frankfort, Ill.) bridged November and December by scoring a pair of goals including the GWG with his first goal of the season on Dec. 1. The second-year Crush player now has a career-best nine points in 18 games this year.

Defense: Logan Landmeier, Chicago Crush

Landmeier (‘05/Elgin, Ill.) put up the assist on Frachalla’s GWG against the division-leading Fort Wayne Spacemen on Dec. 1. He currently has five points in 17 games this season.

Goaltender: Johnny Augusta, Chicago Crush

Augusta (‘04/Medinah, Ill.) racked up his fifth win in a row on Dec. 1, stopping 40 of 41 Fort Wayne shots for a season high in saves. He has seven wins this season and is 16-5-0-1 with a .934 save percentage in his two-year Crush career.

2025 Combine Divisions

Futures Division: Players eligible 2009-11 birth years. This combine is focused on players who are entering the NCDC Phase 1 Draft Eligibility or may be a year or two away and are looking to learn more about Junior Hockey and the USPHL.
Junior Division: Players eligible for junior hockey (2005-2009 birth years). The junior combine is your best way to play in front of USPHL coaches from the NCDC, Premier, and Elite Divisions.
Ages are based on the 2025/26 Season age requirements.

2009 Birth Year Players: Choose between Futures or Juniors Divisions, depending on readiness and goals.

Players are welcome to register for multiple Combine events to maximize exposure.

What to Expect:

Information: The USPHL will host seminars which will introduce the USPHL Pathway to College Hockey along with giving parents a chance to speak with team and league representatives.
Competition: Compete in a four-game guarantee against age appropriate competition with the chance to showcase your skills from coaches from all USPHL affiliated leagues including coaches on the bench from the NCDC and Premier Divisions.
Scouting and Feedback: Combines include recruiting by coaches and scouts from the NCDC, Premier, and Elite Divisions of the USPHL. Players get immediate feedback from coaches along with a chance to get scouted for the NCDC Entry Draft on May 15, 2025.
Schedule: Detailed schedules will be sent to registrants closer to each event, but expect a Friday evening game starting after 3 p.m.; two games on Saturday plus a USPHL/NCDC Information Seminar; and one game on Sunday, with all games concluding by 2 p.m. that day.

Caleb Rae, Florida Jr. Blades

In his second consecutive Player of the Month distinction, Rae (‘07/Stouffville, Ont.) posted points in all four games he played with the Florida Jr. Blades in November, including the game winning goal on Nov. 15. The rookie leads his franchise in points this season, with 20 total points thus far.

Zayn Haddon-Harris, Florida Eels

Haddon-Harris (‘04/Boca Raton, Fla.) scored eight goals in November, ending the month with the game winning goal for the Florida Eels on Nov. 22. In his second season with the Eels, Haddon-Harris has played 59 games and posted 64 career points, leading the franchise this season in points.

Kelan Jamison, Tampa Bay Juniors

The Tampa Bay Juniors entered November with a 10-game win streak, and Jamison’s (‘06/Flint, Mich.) seven goals and two assists were key in keeping that streak to put them at the top of the Florida Division to end the month. Jamison is in his second Elite season, having played 57 games and registering 46 points.

Zachary Barta, Florida Jr. Blades

Barta (‘06/Prior Lake, Minn.) returned to the Florida Jr. Blades for a third season, putting up two goals and seven assists so far this season. The blueliner was impactful in helping the Jr. Blades win three of their four games in November.

Steven Eberhardt, Bold City Battalion

Eberhardt (‘07/Seaford, N.Y.) has kept up the high level of play that also had him become a winner in October. He registered four points over his first three games of the month and helped the Battalion’s Premier team as well by also scoring four points in four games with that squad, as well.

Cooper White, Bold City Battalion

White (‘06/Rapid City, S.D.) is 3-3-0-0 in his rookie Elite season and helped the Bold City Battalion win three of four games he played in November. He has a .914 save percentage so far this season, making 235 saves on 257 shots.

Selection Process: The division’s coaches are presented with a ballot form with statistical leaders (ranked by points per game average for skaters and save percentage for goaltenders) and vote on that form. The league takes the results of that vote and presents the finalists to the coaches, who are able to vote on further changes if desired.

Zachary Rich, Carolina Jr. Hurricanes

Rich (’05/Omaha, Neb.) was one of the most regular threats for the Jr. Hurricanes throughout November, putting up three goals and six assists for nine points. That follows a trend for his time with Carolina, as he’s been a regular threat for three seasons. He currently has 25 points in 21 games this year, and 76 points in 97 games for his Jr. Canes career.

Curren Stukey, Hampton Roads Whalers

Stukey (’06/Golden, Colo.) has helped the Whalers remain undefeated in regulation through 11 games, going 9-0-1-1 during that time and elevating themselves to second in the Elite overall. During the month of November’s four Whalers games, he put up four goals and added one assist for five points, including the shorthanded GWG for one of his two goals against Carolina on Nov. 10.

Braylen Cox, Potomac Patriots

Cox (’05/Nashville, Tenn.) was back up to his old tricks in November, sending the puck home seven times for a 7-1-8 line during the month’s eight Patriots games. His 27 points this season have eclipsed the 26 points from his first two USPHL seasons combined.

Cole Girgis, Hampton Roads Whalers

Girgis (‘07/Woodridge, Ill.) is in his first year with the Whalers, and has recently been reunited with brother Trace, recently acquired after playing earlier with the WBS Knights. Cole registered a goal and two assists during the Whalers’ 3-1-0-0 month of November to help them push into second place overall.

Andrew Pi, Carolina Jr. Hurricanes

Pi (‘07/Ottawa, Ont.) helped his teammates in so many ways, not only sending out four assists during the month, but also playing strong defense that led to giving up just four goals against in their last four games of the month. They went 5-2-0-0 overall for the month of November, and Pi improved to 11 points in 23 games on the season.

Anthony Trantas, Carolina Jr. Hurricanes

The Jr. Canes’ hometown talent Trantas (‘05/Morrisville, N.C.) was in top form throughout November, going 3-1-0-0, with 97 saves on 103 shots for a .942 save percentage. He also made 27 saves in a big win against the division-leading Hampton Roads Whalers on Nov. 9. He has a 7-3-1-0 record for the season, and is 21-5-1-0 for his career.

Forwards

Chase Darcey, South Shore Kings

Darcey (‘06/Billerica, Mass.) scored an impressive 14 goals throughout the month of November and added four assists to his points tally with the South Shore Kings. The rookie scored two game winning goals this month and is the fourth-highest scoring rookie in the Elite league this season. In his first year with the Kings, he is the franchise’s top scorer for the season.

Sullivan Hauser, Islanders Hockey Club

Hauser (‘06/South Bend, Ind.) helped the Islanders round out November with a seven-game win streak, registering five goals and six assists throughout the month. Hauser is in his second Elite season, with 44 points across 52 career games. With 21 points this season, he holds the most points scored for the franchise in 2024-25 so far.

Brady Stevens, Northern Cyclones

Stevens (‘05/Newburyport, Mass.) was a key player helping the Northern Cyclones finish top of the New England Division this month. In his first season with the Northern Cyclones, he went on a six-game points streak in November, and posted 11 points throughout the month. He leads the franchise in points for the season.

Jackson Bulthaup, Northern Cyclones

In his second consecutive Player of the Month nomination, Bulthaup (‘05/Big Rock, Ill.) posted 10 points, including four goals, to help the Northern Cyclones top the New England leadership at the end of November. The rookie is the fourth-highest scoring defenseman in the league, and second-highest scorer for the Northern Cyclones this season.

Brady Dunn, Islanders Hockey Club

Dunn (‘05/Pittsburgh, Penn.) put up 10 points in November, adding to his rookie season total of 14. He scored a powerplay goal on Nov. 14, and his work as a blueliner helped the Islanders finish number two in division standings by the end of the month.

Oliver Caballero, Northern Cyclones

Caballero (‘06/Tustin, Calif.) is 3-1-0-0 this season with a .926 save percentage. In November, he shut out the Montreal Black Vees, securing a win for the Northern Cyclones. He made 67 saves on 72 shots over the month and has a 1.75 goals against average in his rookie season.

Dix (‘05/Mount Clemens, Mich.) is topping the Metro Jets scoring leaderboard this season, helping the team round out November number two in the Division standings. He scored 8 goals and had eight assists in November. In his second season with the Metro Jets, Dix is the franchise leader in most games played at 67.

Ronnie Lubbers, Metro Jets

Lubbers (‘08/New Baltimore, Mich.) has had an impactful rookie season, scoring six goals and posting seven assists in November, including three game winning goals. He is the fourth-highest scoring leader in the franchise.

Eli Kolasa, Fort Wayne Spacemen

Connor Edwards, Chicago Crush

Edwards (‘07) helped the Chicago Crush enter November with a five-game win streak. He registered seven points over the month, scoring his first-ever goal on Nov. 23. Edwards has 10 total points in his rookie season so far.

Brendan Kusbel, Fort Wayne Spacemen

In his second season with the Fort Wayne Spacemen, Kusbel (‘05/Mount Pleasant, Mich.) went 5-2-0-0 in November, including one shutout on Nov. 24 to help the team lead in Division standings. Kusbel is second in the league as a goalie with a 1.42 save percentage. This season, he’s had 265 saves on 280 shots. His two-season career save percentage is .917 over 1,526 minutes played.

Artur Osvepyan, WBS Knights

Osvepyan (‘08) scored a goal in every game he played for the WBS Knights in October and November, registering 13 goals and 12 points over nine games. He is fourth in the franchise for most points per game at 2.78. His standout work on the ice helped the Knights finish November at the top of the Atlantic Division leaderboard. Harold Stauffer, PAL Jr. Islanders

Stauffer (‘07/Lake Grove, N.Y.) ended November on a seven-game points streak, scoring at least one goal in every game since Oct. 21. The PAL Jr. Islanders forward has 38 points (19 goals; 19 assists) in his debut season, including four game-winning goals. He is the second-highest scoring leader for the Elite league and earned Player of the Month honorable mention in October.

Dante Scibelli, PAL Jr. Islanders

Also in his rookie season, Scibelli (‘06/Farmingdale, N.Y.) is at the top of the Elite scoring leaderboard with 41 points and leads the league in assists. He’s on a 14-game points streak that began on Sept. 29. The rookie is having a statement season, leading the franchise in all-time points per game at 2.05. This is Scibelli’s second Player of the Month honor this season, earning a nomination in October.

Defensemen:

Samvel Barsegyan, WBS Knights

Barsegyan (‘08) played 10 games with the WBS Knights in November, scoring three goals and seven assists to help the team win their first three games of the month and end it at the top of the division leaderboard. In his rookie season in the Elite league, the defenseman is the fifth-highest scorer for his franchise.

Colin Hogrefe, Elmira Impact

Hogrefe (‘05/Washington, D.C.) posted four points over five games with Elmira Impact in November. In his third Elite season and second with Elmira, the blueliner has eight points, with three goals and five assists. Hogrefe has played 75 career games in his three USPHL seasons.

Dominik Feiler, PAL Jr. Islanders

The October honorable mention nominee, Feiler (‘07/Farmingville, N.Y.) is 6-1-0-0 in his rookie Elite season, helping the PAL Jr. Islanders finished November in second in the Atlantic Division. In his three games played last month, Feiler had 95 saves on 101 shots for a .940 save percentage. The rookie has played 10 games this season, making 289 saves on 307 shots for a .941 save percentage so far this season.

Evan Armit, a 2002-born forward from Dryden, Ontario, is a remarkable young man who has always embodied resilience and passion. He played junior hockey in the MJHL with the Winnipeg Freeze and in the NCDC/USPHL with the Islanders Hockey Club. Now in his second year at Worcester State University, Evan is a proud member of the Lancers and a dedicated Business student known for his academic achievements.

Evan’s incredible journey has taken an unexpected turn as he faces his toughest challenge yet: metastatic melanoma.

This journey began in June 2024 when Evan underwent surgery to remove a lesion from his left heel, which tested positive for melanoma. Though initial results were promising with clear margins, doctors recommended an additional surgery to ensure all cancerous cells were removed. In August 2024, Evan underwent a second procedure to widen the margins, and once again, results came back clear.

Despite these proactive measures, Evan faced further challenges. On October 18, he was admitted to UMass Hospital in Worcester for further treatment, spending three nights there. His parents, Brian and Jen, made the long trip, driving from Dryden to Thunder Bay and then flying to Boston on October 19 to be by his side. On October 21, Evan, Brian, and Jen returned to Thunder Bay, and just a day later, Evan was admitted to Thunder Bay Hospital, where he stayed for an additional 14 nights.

During this difficult period, Brian and Jen stayed in Thunder Bay facing even more significant expenses. These expenses include flights from Thunder Bay to Boston for Brian and Jen, return flights from Boston to Thunder Bay for the family, accommodations at Tamarack House, meals, and other associated costs related to nearly three weeks of living away from home.

Pics to Begin Play in Tuition-Free NCDC in 2025-26

West Springfield, Mass., Dec. 2, 2024 – The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) announced today that the Springfield Pics will join the tuition-free National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) beginning in the 2025-26 season under General Manager/Head Coach Rob Bonneau. The Pics will be the 10th team joining the New England Division, a pivotal addition to the NCDC’s ongoing evolution. A founding member of the USPHL, the Pics play at Olympia Ice Center in West Springfield, Massachusetts. In addition to the NCDC team, the Pics will field a USPHL Elite team in 2025-26.

“We have been a proud member of the USPHL since its inception and are proud to announce our elevation to the NCDC division,” said Springfield Pics franchise owner Patrick Tabb. “This gives us the opportunity to once again compete for the Dineen Cup, named in honor of our founder, Gary Dineen. We are thrilled for this next chapter in our program and provisioning for more college hockey opportunities for players for many years to come.”

Under Head Coach Gary Dineen, the team won several Eastern Junior Hockey League Championships, and a number of Pics players went on to play in the NHL. The Pics were a founding member of the USPHL, going on to win the USPHL Elite Championship in 2014 and the 16U American Championship in 2020 and 2021.
