Cory Anderson scored twice, Dominic Collins and Landon Graham each had two assists, and Daniell Luska had a goal and an assist in the Jets win today.
Hampton Roads Whalers 4, Potomac Patriots 3
Hampton Roads is moving on to the USPHL Elite Southeast Division Championships. The Whalers will face the Carolina Jr. Hurricanes in that match-up. Carolina is one win away from going to the USPHL Nationals in Wayne, N.J., while the Whalers will need to win two in a row to advance to Nationals. The Whalers defeated the Potomac Patriots 4-3, with a two-goal game from Tate Warwarick, a goal and an assist from Curren Stukey and 41 saves on 44 shots from Nick Kremnitser.
Islanders Hockey Club 9, South Shore Kings 1
The Islanders Hockey Club’s USPHL Elite team started out their series against the South Shore Kings with a 9-1 win on Monday. Sullivan Hauser scored a hat trick and added an assist for the home team, and they got three points from each of Vincent Leclerc, Nicholas Posthumus, Jameson Yackmack and John Duffy. Cole Kelly made 15 saves in the win.
