Dec. 19-22, 2024
Hertz Arena, Estero, Fla.
The Gulf Coast of Florida provides a whole new definition of “hockey weather” as the USPHL Florida College Showcase will see sunny skies and warm temperatures as players and fans enter the beautiful Hertz Arena for this key event every year on the USPHL Premier and Elite calendar.
College scouts and coaches will get a chance to see 26 total teams take part in this year’s USPHL Florida College Showcase, with all of the Florida and Southeast Division teams from both leagues representing 22 of these squads. Additionally, these teams will be joined by the Northern Cyclones’ Premier and Elite teams - the latter being the defending USPHL Elite National Champions - as well as the Motor City Gamblers’ Premier and Elite teams, for a total of 26 teams on the ice over the four-day stretch.
Both the USPHL Premier and USPHL Elite teams saw more than 350 advancements to college hockey at the NCAA, ACHA and AAU levels during the 2023-24 season. Every season, both leagues continue to develop players for the college game, as well as for higher levels. In 2023-24, more than 250 players who played in the USPHL Premier saw time in the USPHL’s highest tier, the National Collegiate Development Conference. More than 300 USPHL Elite players moved either in-season or from prior seasons to the USPHL Premier, all signs of USPHL Advancement in action.
