USPHL NCDC Combines: 2025 Locations, Dates, Registration Coming Soon
About The USPHL NCDC Combine Series
The annual USPHL NCDC Combine series is an exciting entry point into the United States Premier Hockey League’s multi-tiered junior program that focuses entirely on development and advancement of players to the collegiate hockey level. The NCDC sent more than 200 players to NCAA college hockey in 2023-24. Among this number were 72 players, including alumni, who moved on to the NCAA Division I ranks.
The USPHL NCDC Combine Series has a multi-pronged mission:
Introduction: The NCDC Combine Series presents players with a direct line of communication and in-person recruiting opportunities in front of a guaranteed audience of Tier II National Collegiate Development Conference coaches.
Information: NCDC coaches and league officials meet directly with the players and parents to provide all there is to know about the NCDC’s successful advancement record, its player procurement process and what to expect on a day to day basis as a student-athlete working towards a college hockey opportunity.
Integration: Players who register for the USPHL NCDC Combine Series automatically become part of the scouting database for the NCDC and its Tier III sister leagues the USPHL Premier and USPHL Elite. Coaches from teams across the three leagues will work together to find the best starting point for a player, and sometimes within their own organization. There were more than 260 in-season and alumni advancements from the USPHL Premier and USPHL Elite to the NCDC in 2023-24.
2025 Combine Divisions
Two Separate Divisions At Each Combine: Futures Division (14U through 16U-eligible for 2025-26); Junior Division (2005 through 2009, i.e., junior eligible for 2025-26)
- Players entering 14U and 15U in 2025-26 (2010 and 2011 birth years) will be able to learn about junior hockey and the multi-tiered development model of the United States Premier Hockey League in partnership with the Tier 1 Hockey Federation, while promoting their individual skill set to NCDC coaches for future NHL Entry Drafts.
- Players at the 16U level for 2025-26 (2009 birth years) are also eligible for junior hockey in 2025-26, and can gauge whether their next best step should be to remain in Midget hockey with their age group, or progress to junior hockey where they will face players up to 20 years old.
